Jason Hoyte here from The Big Show here. Dunno about you, but I already need a holiday because it’s been a bloody busy start to the year. From our Boat Cruise, sending Steve from Otūmoetai to Vegas for The NRL and The GOAT…and its all been eatin’ into my fishing time.
Anyway, so here we go with another round of the Radio Hauraki Music Jury, which is a job that you volunteer your time to us for.
Yes, it’s a bit like actual court duty, which by the way I once was called for… but I got out of. I asked the judge, “can I fire up a ‘durry’ in the court room Your Honour” but she was a firm “no”. So I said, “Well, I think our man in the dock is innocent Sir.”
And then ole Hoytey J was excused. Of course, no more durries for me these days.
